{"id":209,"date":"2021-02-01T03:56:23","date_gmt":"2021-02-01T08:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qcwa60.org\/?p=209"},"modified":"2021-03-24T02:46:44","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T06:46:44","slug":"february-club-of-the-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qcwa60.org\/index.php\/2021\/02\/01\/february-club-of-the-month\/","title":{"rendered":"February Featured Club of the Month"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><em>Tellico Lake Amateur Radio Club<\/em><br>(TLARC)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For the inaugural featured Club of the Month, I&#8217;d like to highlight the Tellico Lake Amateur Radio Club (TLARC.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"534\" height=\"255\" src=\"http:\/\/qcwa60.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/TLARC_banner.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qcwa60.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/TLARC_banner.jpg 534w, https:\/\/qcwa60.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/TLARC_banner-300x143.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 534px) 100vw, 534px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I recently had the pleasure of visiting them during the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/cq160.com\" target=\"_blank\">CQ WW 160-Meter CW Contest<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winterfieldday.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Winter Field Day<\/a>.  Everyone I met was extremely friendly and welcoming to me.  They have a wonderful location from which to operate contests and events.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their <a href=\"http:\/\/tlarc.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website <\/a>(<a href=\"http:\/\/tlarc.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/tlarc.org)<\/a> is one of the best amateur radio club sites I&#8217;ve visited.  It provides extensive information useful to amateurs that live as well as those that are visiting in the East Tennessee area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had a blast visiting them and look forward to participating with them in future events.
